Our twilight years are a time for reflection. Reflection on the meaning of our lives. Reflection on what it means to age and pass away. Reflection on what life has taught us.
Good questions help our reflection. Over the next several posts I am simply going to offer some good questions for reflecting on your twilight years. I invite your reflection on these questions and welcome any comments you’d like to make.
Here are some questions of meaning for you to reflect upon:
- Who am I?
- What are my values?
- What do I believe?
- What matters most to me?
- How can I give back to the common good?
“Listen to your life. See it for the fathomless mystery it is. In the boredom and pain of it, no less than in the excitement and gladness: touch, taste, smell your way to the holy and hidden heart of it, because in the last analysis all moments are key moments, and life itself is grace.”
Frederick Buechner, Now and Then: A Memoir of Vocation
